Danish Hospital Clowns:
Danish Hospital Clowns aim to meet and strengthen people in illness by inviting them into a world of fantasy, poetry, and enchantment.
Assisting vulnerable and sick children and youth more, and expanding with people with dementia as a new target group.
The Hospital Clowns support and assist many thousands of children through blood tests, anesthesia, and create moments of play and cracks of light when life in the hospital hurts.
SOS Children's Villages:
We work to ensure that all children have the opportunity to grow up in a family that provides them with love and security – whether it's in the child's biological family or a new SOS family.
SOS Children's Villages ensures that vulnerable children can grow up in a caring and secure environment.
SOS Children's Villages ensure that vulnerable and orphaned children attend school, receive an education, and have the chance for a better future. At the same time, we ensure that the children in the children's villages receive regular medical check-ups and the opportunity to process any traumas, so they can grow up strong and whole.
SOS Children's Villages ensures that children in children's villages and local areas know their rights and what they can do if their rights are violated. Additionally, we actively work to ensure that all cultures and religions have space in the children's villages, so there is always room for the child's cultural origin in the children's village they live in.
